Mechanical Ventilations Systems
Mechanical ventilations systems with heat recovery are not intended to be heating systems. The system works by expelling the warm moist air that is found in the kitchen, bathroom and en-suite rooms of a modern well built and reasonably air tight house and using the energy or heat (which is already paid for) to heat fresh air from the outside and redistributes this fresh, filtered and heated air to the living spaces through a system of ducts which are installed in the walls and ceilings. Due to the need for a system of ducts a MVHR system can be readily installed in a new build house but is difficult to retro-fit into an existing house. Benefits: - Fresh, filtered air
- Draught Free
- Energy saving
- Prevents mould
