Bargain hunters were certainly out in force last Saturday when over 2,000 people flocked to a 'one-day marquee madness sale' at Heiton Buckley Builders Merchants on the Cork Road in Waterford. The queues started at 6.30am and by the time the marquee was opened at 8.30am, over 150 people were assembled to pick up eye catching offers such as petrol lawn mowers at under €100, laminate floors from a fiver a square yard and four piece bathroom sets from €79.
